🎉 Oh what a night!! Dance Through the Decades Wrap 🎉
This year the party was held at the fabulous Bondi Bowlo on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH
Tupac, Slash, Björk, Don from Miami Vice, John & Uma from Pulp Fiction, The Devo, John & Yoko, The Rock, Robert Plant and his gorgeous partners in style, and so many more good looking rock stars hit the dance floor at the Bondi Bowlo on Saturday night! As with previous Big Fundraisers your president was blown away by how everyone shows up and fully commits to the theme!

We had an unbelievable response from the local business and community members, with so many donating outstanding prizes for this fundraising event. Their generosity is simply outstanding. Quite a few of them are also parents & carers – so on behalf of the kids of BBPS – thank you to all our sponsors for their incredible support.
And to all of you who supported the Big Fundraiser 2024 event by purchasing raffle tickets, bidding on items, spreading the word, getting dressed up and coming to the party… THANK YOU!
For the newer parents & carers, some background:
The P&C fundraiser is held every two years, it is our biggest fundraiser for the school and arguably the best school night for parents. It is an opportunity for the parents, carers and staff to come together, celebrate and support Bondi Beach Public School. We dress up, share some drinks, have a great dance and splash some cash all in support of our beautiful school.
Our 2022 last fundraiser raised over $50K towards the new playground which has now been funded and finalised. There has been plenty of input and excitement from our students over the design; it has been great that the school has involved the kids in the process and valued their input. The school is at the final stages of planning when construction can take place – so keep your eyes peeled for that over the summer 2024/5
This year we are fundraising for technology upgrades across the school, including new interactive smartboards in the classrooms. We also have some incredible proposals and ideas for school improvements coming in from various parents which we would love to be able to fund. If you have your own ideas, the Biennial Fundraiser is an amazing opportunity to fundraise for them and you are always welcome to put forward proposals and ideas at any P&C meeting. We are all part of our vibrant school community!
The success of the event relies on a motivated team of volunteers, community sponsors, local business donations and 2024 was no different; once again we were humbled by an exceptionally hard working team and the generous support of our local business community.
